A Russian-Jewish photographer based in Tiflis, at the turn of the 20th century. Specialised in large-format photography and photographic enlargments. His studio was called ‘Pushkinskaya Fotografiya’. In 1901 Nordstein won a silver medal at an international photographic exhibition, an achievement that is advertised on all the subsequent photograph backstamps from his studio.
