Vram Hakobian was born in Yerevan.
He has finished the State Polytechnic Institute and has been photographing since 1985.
Currently, Hakobian works as a photographer at the National Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography in Yerevan.
Alongside his documentary and commercial practice, Hakobian is also an early proponent of conceptual photography in Armenia.
